Botswana Participates In An Inclusive Leadership Training  In Portugal

Women and Sport Botswana (WASBO) collaborated with Integrated Dreams, a non-profit Association based in Lisbon, Portugal, working for inclusion of people with disability in the sports industry and a scholarship opportunity was presented for women with disability in sport in Botswana across all codes for the 2021 Football For All Leadership Programme. Ms. Keotshepile Pinkie Keakopa from Football/ FUB emerged successful.

We are pleased to inform your office that through Women and Sport Botswana (WASBO) collaboration with Integrated Dreams, a non-profit Association based in Lisbon, Portugal, working for inclusion of people with disability in the sports industry, a scholarship opportunity was presented for women with disability in sport across all codes for the 2021 Football For All Leadership Programme and Ms. Keotshepile Pinkie Keakopa from Football/ FUB emerged successful.

The 2021 Football for All Leadership Programme took place in Lisbon, Portugal, from October 10 to 17, 2021 (inclusive dates). The Scholarship supported by the Making Dreams Come True Foundation covered the Tuition Fee for the Programme and part accommodation for the programme while WASBO through the BNSC covered travel costs, part accommodation and incidentals.

The Football for All Leadership Programme is an international programme specifically designed to promote employability, entrepreneurship and networking of people with disability in the sports world. The Mission is to increase representation of people with disability in the sports world, including women and girls.

The Leadership Programme provides training in partnership with top Academic entities and sports organizations aimed at preparing each participant to work in the industry. Integrated Dreams is committed to guaranteeing a quality training opportunity, helping each individual find their own path either through employment or development of an entrepreneurial project.
